  • Thanks to everyone who came last night to see Brown’s photography. Being a model in a photographic study is something I had never even thought about.

  • Great work, Brown. Keep doing what you’re doing and don’t lose focus. You have put the spotlight on a phase of life that many of us are afraid to acknowledge.

    • Thanks so much for your encouraging words, Rick. I know it’s a painful and depressing topic, but it is something we need to explain to the younger generations so they don’t allow it to happen again.

The real horrors of the AIDS crisis were the actions and inaction of people, driven by fear, ignorance, hate, and greed. Medical science can’t save us from our worst sides of human nature.

  • Your project brought tears to my eyes! I assume that’s what it was supposed to do.
Absolutely wonderful work, Brown. I always knew you were talented, but this! Please continue to enlighten and amaze all of us.

    • Thanks for sharing your experience, Mare, and for the praise. We are really trying to reach into people’s hearts and pull their attention to what they should be feeling. So much suffering and injustice in this world right now, and most of us just blind to it. We feel like it’s our generations’ responsibility to help younger ones prepare for the fight ahead. This is just our small part in what we hope to be a global activist movement. Thanks again for your support!

Creative Photography Artist in Palm Springs, creating surreal and conceptual photographic images using modern projection mapping techniques in otherwise traditional studio-based fine art photography sessions. Storytelling through expressionism and abstracted reality allows for layered meanings and contextual depth even in still photography. We can open windows into the minds of subjects, or lift the veil of normalcy and reveal the true nature of their surroundings. Using projection instead of multi-exposure or digital compositing is a superior technique because it creates a live optical illusion and transforms the physical space of the studio. We can see in real time what the photo is going to look like. This enables subjects who are not trained actors or models to give compelling "performances" because they are actually reacting naturally to the visual environment we've created. Using projection mapping tech makes it possible to involve the subject in the creative process with on-the-fly collaboration, developing and refining the visual concepts between each shutter release.
