Announcing an Exciting Preview
We are thrilled to announce a special preview of our upcoming photo series, ‘The Last Hug,’ set to debut at the Stephen Richard Baumbach Gallery. This series delves into the powerful emotions tied to parting moments, encapsulated in carefully curated imagery.
Exclusive Showcase at the 6th Juried Photography Exhibit
As part of the 6th annual juried photography exhibit, we will be showcasing three images from ‘The Last Hug.’ Each photograph tells a story of connection, intimacy, and the farewells, inviting viewers to reflect on their own experiences with the power of touch and the final moments shared with loved ones.
Join Us for This Unique Experience
We invite you to experience these poignant images in person at the gallery. We hope our photo series evokes deep emotions and provokes thought for photography enthusiasts and art lovers alike. Join us in celebrating the art of photography and the stories that resonate through our series, ‘The Last Hug.’ The exhibit runs through the end of September. Join us tonight (6 August) for the opening reception from 5pm to 7pm at the Gallery, 4116 Matthew Drive, Palm Springs, California.
Thanks to everyone who came last night to see Brown’s photography. Being a model in a photographic study is something I had never even thought about.
Great work, Brown. Keep doing what you’re doing and don’t lose focus. You have put the spotlight on a phase of life that many of us are afraid to acknowledge.
Thanks so much for your encouraging words, Rick. I know it’s a painful and depressing topic, but it is something we need to explain to the younger generations so they don’t allow it to happen again.
The real horrors of the AIDS crisis were the actions and inaction of people, driven by fear, ignorance, hate, and greed. Medical science can’t save us from our worst sides of human nature.
Your project brought tears to my eyes! I assume that’s what it was supposed to do.
Absolutely wonderful work, Brown. I always knew you were talented, but this! Please continue to enlighten and amaze all of us.
Thanks for sharing your experience, Mare, and for the praise. We are really trying to reach into people’s hearts and pull their attention to what they should be feeling. So much suffering and injustice in this world right now, and most of us just blind to it. We feel like it’s our generations’ responsibility to help younger ones prepare for the fight ahead. This is just our small part in what we hope to be a global activist movement. Thanks again for your support!
